This was getting to be more of a pain in the ass than it was worth. Dinah wasn't even sure anymore why she'd thought this would be a good idea to begin with, or why she hadn't backed out yet-- but by this point it was really too late to abandon ship.
"Yes, Mom." She muttered but managed not to roll her eyes and, through great force of will, managed to make herself straighten her back, crossed her legs at the ankles and left her hands resting lightly in her lap (although she did make a cross-eyed face over at Hal).
"Mom's old one." She agreed, because she certainly wasn't going to go in a dress or anything. That'd just be silly. "Set the record straight about a couple of things, keep the hyenas fed and off the front porch, if at all possible. If not, I'll just get a SHIELD escort and have Hal bubble up the place." Okay, maybe this wasn't an appropriate time for jokes, but she wasn't about to let a tiny detail like that stop her.
