Teddy had an advantage of flexibility. Some of the holds that would normally pin a person simply didn't work on the half-skrull, his joints rolling too easily. Conner, however, was faster. Teddy felt his ankle being grabbed and his back hitting the mat, retaliated by extending his leg to kick at Connor's chin rather than thinking he could roll away from him in time before trying to claw back to his feet. He shook his head to clear it. "Whoo, that one rattled my teeth!" he complimented while guarding. It didn't matter how well guarded on some strikes, however. Teddy only weighed so much, and Conner could launch him toward the wall with ease on his well-planted hits.
