"I didn't say there was anything wrong with it," Phil said, his tone still affable. "It's your team after all, and I'm sure the name was chosen for a good reason." He glanced into the cereal bowl, an eyebrow lifting. ".....Is it supposed to be turning the milk into a rainbow?"
"Not everything. Just data that was picked up during your work out in the public. It's what we do, how we assess if someone is a threat or not. We don't send drones into private spaces to scan you. We don't interrogate family and friends to learn your deepest darkest, secrets. And I won't be planting a bug when I leave so that I can spy on you from the comfort of my flying Corvette." A little smile over at her as he tapped the tablet again, bringing up another screen. "If you would please place your thumb on the glowing icon?"
"We've been busy. The Luthor Administration and the fallout after, Skrulls, and a number of other things have been more prominent on our radar. And ... If I may be completely honest, Miss Dearden, your team, as I have stated, isn't a threat. You're doing very good work, and not in a way that requires me showing up to give you all time outs. For a group as young as you collectively are, it's refreshing. And indicates quality leadership."
