The reports of odd dimensional anomalies happening in the southern town of Broxton had Wanda on edge. It had been nearly a decade since she inadvertently created pocket dimensions across the country that resulted in the disappearance of a few dozen or so people. It had been quite a while, but could these strange anomalies somehow be a result of lingering effects caused by that event so long ago? For days, she followed the reports closely, looking for similarities that might link the two. She couldn't find many, but that didn't stop her from wanting to go to the small town to investigate.
She had intended to go by herself, but Vision was quick to invite himself along. Of course, this meant Eira would have to come with them as well since leaving her with anyone else for an extended amount of time was undesirable. She was a tad nervous having them come along, aware that many still held prejudices towards mutants and anything else that was different... and the three of them were definitely different.
"If it does have something to do with what happened back then, I must stay," she replied, her gaze moving along the town as well. "If not... I cannot, in good conscience, just walk away." She looked to her husband, giving him a reassuring smile. "I know you are worried, but we should be fine. If anything happens, you take Eira back home, okay?"
