Agent Leo Fitz stood in the middle of the main street going through town, which passed a majority of the businesses, and at either end was a church and a bar and a non-franchise diner. "There's not even a Micky-D's here," he said faintly. "You know you're in the middle of nowhere when there isn't even a Micky-D's." He looked to where Jemma was coming out of the gas station toward the large SUV that packed all of their equipment.
"This is still your fault." It actually was. They had been assigned out here because of the Winter Soldier. Not only was it a way to keep Jemma somewhere unknown and safer, but it also meant she was away from her usual project and comfort zones. However, if Simmons thought it was any sort of punishment, she didn't seem to think so in the least. In fact, whereas Fitz was scowly at this whole affair, his partner seemed happy.
