Who: Pepper Potts, Victor von Doom Where: Latverian Embassy, New York When: March 23rd, 2014 What: Doctor Doom has a touchy guest problem. Pepper is his best bet to solve the matter peacefully with due concerns voiced. Rating: PG
The library of the embassy was not nearly as impressive as the one in his castle, and yet it still had a vast collection of new and antique books, much of it Kristoff's personal selection. They were not sorted by language, only by authors and subjects, French works mingling with German and Italian squeezed among Latin without concern. When Pepper arrived she was guided to the room and would find the dictator standing at the shelves with an open book in hand, the Mandarin causing his eyes to read right to left up the columns of symbols.
"Have you ever been to any Eastern Monasteries, Miss Potts?" he asked without turning around, his lower voice hardly able to sound soft due to the metal rasp from the mask. "Of all the places in the world, there is likely no place more peaceful than a lone mountain monastery, no people more generous or clear of soul."
He turned about, closing the book with his one hand. "I have a matter I hope you can assist me with. It requires a bit of delegation and hopefully a prisoner transfer that will end without conflict."
