Little Dark Stories... Who: Scarecrow and Cass Where: Gotham Cemetary What: Picking flowers... When: April 13th, 2012 Rating: PG-13 (violence and dark nursery rhmes)
"Little Boy Blue did not make a peep under the haystack, presumed asleep," Scarecrow recited through his mask as he stooped, picking another rose from one of the bushes surrounding a grave, eyeing it for a moment before adding it to his basket.
"Until they discovered, the pitchfork to blame. And that's the true story behind Blue Boy's name," he snipped a daffodil from another plant, adding it to the collection of stolen cemetery flowers, smiling to himself.
It was a nice night, to be walking in the garden, with the flowers springing up from the shower earlier in the month. He hummed softly, setting his basket on a bench tomb, taking out one of the roses and snipping off the thorns.
