A glow began to envelop the both of them that originated from the mark of Shou-Lao upon the chest of Danny. As he expanded his consciousness, he did not intrude upon Matt so much as he drew the other man in, almost as if he was taking him by the hand into his own mind. It was not Danny's intention to reveal his thoughts and feelings, but even so, it was impossible for some of them not to be felt. The faint ripples of his deepest connections and loves.
In practice, the technique was used to create something of a hive mind with another individual. So that in battle, he could share his martial knowledge with another. Taken another step further, he could also share some of his own senses.. like his sight.
And so when Danny opened his eyes again, he was not alone in seeing through them.
"I can't give you back your sight, but... I can share some of my vision of the world with you." Even as he said the words, he gestured across from where they knelt, to a wide variety of paintings depicting a variety of colors.
"Small consolations I know, but.. I hope this ease the burden of some of your darkness."
He touched a remote to light up several multi-colored strands of Christmas lights, hoping it would not be too much of a sensory overload for Matt.
"Because everyone deserves some light in their life."
