Despite Danny's insistences that Matt should relax, he was distinctly cautious whenever someone came around behind him. Although he knew exactly where Danny was kneeling (he could hear his footsteps, his breathing and if that wasn't enough his radar gave him an outline of exactly where Danny was - without even the need to turn his head), it was still disconcerting to have someone tell you to relax as they moved behind you.
A smirk crossed his face at Danny's joke, "Let's hope not. Your dating habits are rusty if you think you're getting anything without dinner first." Matt jibed back, shaking his head at the 'no homo' expression.
Matt wasn't an expert on pop culture and slang, but he was pretty sure that when someone said "relax and open yourself to me", they were no longer protected under the bounds of the 'no homo' rule.
Still, Matt settled in and closed his eyes (for all the difference it made) and let his breathing lengthen and soften, adopting his own meditative state- and trying not to allow his mind to wander towards what exactly Danny had planned. Matt wasn't entirely sure that this ... whatever his friend was about to do with his chi was going to reflect well on either of them; but he'd had much practice in keeping the darker parts of his mind sealed off... and if Danny was truly his friend, he wouldn't go pushing where he wasn't welcome.
