"Fruit salad." He had pulled a cutting board out and was now selecting a knife. The melon was sliced through easily. He had scooped the seed out into a bowl by the the time the kettle whistled. He poured the water into the waiting tea pot, setting the lid on before returning to dicing up the various fruits into even cubes. "It should make a decent, light breakfast. If you want something heavier, there is some cranberry granola." He shrugged a little. "Or oatmeal. We can always make oatmeal."
The sliced fruit was being deposited into the wooden bowl. Now he wsa pouring honey into the warm water with the tea leaves and grating a touch of ginger into it, stirring it together rapidly.
