"We used to have to check in to our babysitters instead," Dick said with a smile. They were all teenagers when they met, and thought it would be fun to work together. The sidekicks of heroes, they had a lot to prove and a lot in common, at least when it came to being vigilantes and making a name for themselves. "You always got us made in bars. You have obvious tells when you're trying too hard to lie." Dick usually had the money at hand to grease a few palms, but they had other ways to get around it. He didn't mind being nostalgic. He'd been out of the main game long enough that it was good to be reminded of what happened.
"That hat ... I think you almost got in trouble more often just trying to keep a hold of it." Dick had the short shorts. And his first Nightwing costume was easily mockable, and he knew that. He wasn't a designer, thank you very much. "There's been two other Boy Wonders, I'm Grandpa Wonder at this point." He did feel old when compared to the other two. And had a new appreciation for what Alfred went through. He faked a right to get Roy going and then bolted to the left instead, laughing as he started taking off down the nearest rooftop.
