Dick had patrolled Blüdhaven before blindfolded and with one hand tied behind his back. Two actually. He was always challenging himself, because who knew what would happen in a situation. Also, some nights got boring and there was nothing to do but go 'I wonder how far I'd make it doing this.' The answer was: pretty far. He was used to Roy's chatter, and he used to work with his friends enough that it became white noise in the background. It'd been awhile though, so while he kept attempting to zone out and scan the streets below, he ended up looking over at Roy.
"Before smart phones we didn't do any of those things. Unless we went by the bar to see the scores and called from a pay phone." Dick didn't see anything just yet that set off alarms for him, but there was always something going on in his neighborhood. Or about to go on. It was a dangerous place, a lot more dangerous before he moved in and balanced out the bad. The smart criminals learned what districts to be in when, so Dick tried not to be predictable.
"If you wanted to be one with the night, you should've picked a different color suit." Dick smirked, because he knew well that the Robin uniform was more or less a giant bullseye. And yet, they were trained to be stealthier than most people wearing all black. "Do you think you can keep up?"
