"So did the bunny find you?" Jennifer had to raise her voice as she talked - she had her brother on speaker phone, but she herself was not exactly near the phone. She was in fact floating up above her futon. It was a controlled levitation however, Jennifer had wanted to practice lifting herself up off the ground via magic, and she figured doing it in her apartment, over the somewhat padded futon that she slept on was a good idea. She half listened as Andrew talked, saying how his Easter had gone, who he had seen, and how he was enjoying the break from school.
Letting herself slowly lower to the futon, Jennifer soon found herself back within reasonable distance of the phone.
"Well that's good. Things are - things are things. It's Gotham - as weird as I thought it would be. I don't know, there was something about the fish in today's paper..." She scanned the apartment looking for the paper and then gave a shrug of her shoulders. Andy didn't need to know all the details. "But take care, say hi to you know who." She and Andy made a point of not using certain words over the phone, words like magic, or Zhered-Na, and they also didn't mention their friend in the swamp. She didn't think anyone would bug her phone, but she just liked to err on the side of caution.
Ending the call with her brother, Jennifer hung up the phone, and then stretched her arms up above er head.
She wandered over to her dresser and opened the drawer that she stored her bras in. She pushed aside part of her collection, and gave a nod. The Tome of Zhered-Na was still there, and still safe. She really did need to find a new place to stash it.
