Billy listened intently, silently mouthing an "oh" at the biodad revelation. He looked at Teddy and smiled a small smile.
"Well, if it makes you feel any better, you've come to the right place when it comes to strange family situations." Between Teddy's alien heritage and Billy's own mystical reincarnation business, they could probably write a book about strange family types.
"I know the thought of moving probably sucks, but it doesn't mean you have to lose contact. You're still a part of the team, and distance isn't as much of a barrier as you might think." He stood and walked toward a small silk bag that was resting on the bookshelf, mostly hidden from view.
"If you want, I can help close that distance even more." He idly fingered the small rune stones through the fabric. It had been a while since he'd even thought of imprinting someone's thread so that he could find them. It had been a while since he had really thought of anything Loki had taught him all that time ago.
