The air shimmered for an instant near the couch before Billy teleported into the room. With all of the spatial distortion caused by adjusting how their room was, it had taken some practice over the semester to find the right place. He'd had a mishap earlier where he'd ended up in the next room over because he had wanted to end up closer to the bed. Fortunately their neighbor had gone to class, so there wasn't any awkward explanations that were needed.
"Hey," he offered toward Teddy as he pulled his backpack off his shoulder. It took him a moment to notice Cissie, and when he did, it took another moment for the shock to leave his face.
"Hey to you as well," he finally said after recovering. "Forgive me, but I didn't know we were going to have company over." He looked at Teddy for a moment, silently trying to gauge the situation. Cissie knew Teddy much more than she knew him.
"I can go, I mean, if I'm interrupting something."
