Johnny just liked holidays. When he was younger, they'd been a great excuse to get out of school, put up decorations and hang out with friends. All in all, things hadn't changed that much over the years. Halloween had always been a favorite for both the 'trick' reasons and the 'treats'. (Though Sue always made sure his ambitious plots never caused any property damage. At least not on purpose.)
He had a busy night ahead of them. The FF was going to be around to greet any trick-or-treaters that showed up at the building, spend some family time with Sue and Franklin, then he was going to drop by Gotham, then hook up with Roy and see if they couldn't convince Wally to have a little bit of fun. It was going to be a long night and that was one of the reasons why he hadn't even gotten up until noon.
Johnny walked into Franklin's room holding a small bowl of freshly roasted pumpkin seeds. "Hey, sis," he greeted, holding out the bowl of snacks. He looked over to Franklin. "Hey, little man. Ready for your costume?"
