Re: Steve & Cissie
She offered a smile as he shook her hand but then his words caught her off guard a bit. She blinked before forcing herself - in a very quick moment - to get her composure back. Acting shocked wasn't going to help anything. But it was a surprise. A nice one.
The gentleman she'd bumped into, had been the same one who had joined up with her at the rally months earlier. Standing in front of her was Captain America but he was dressed up as a Vampire and somehow it worked. What was he going to do wear his uniform to a costume party? That'd be like if she wore hers! It was a uniform, not a costume. And hell, even heroes needed time off.
She offered him a smile, a genuine one. "It helps," she nodded. "Just a little bit." It really was good to see him. He'd given her contact information just in case something happened (when you stared/spoke down the evil leader of the free world all cards were in the air!), but she'd never really gotten the chance to call to thank him. For his help. Maybe fate was helping her do that. "So what should I call you?" she asked curiously. "Captain Rogers? Or do you prefer something else?" She figured calling him Captain America here would not be appropriate. And while she was a teenager? She knew better than to be star struck - for the most part, with other heroes. Hell she was LIVING with the Green Arrow for god sakes!
