This was a perspective of his own house that Bruce rarely had - looking at the upper stories from a position level with their windows. The bedroom curtains on the second floor had all been drawn, but those leading into the ladies retiring room and the men's smoking room on the third floor were drawn, revealing the antique furniture and decor.
Looking the other direction, he pointed to a mountain not far away, its peak shrouded in what appeared to be the evening's mist. "The runway for my jet ends there; it rises straight up though the mist cover so people can't see exactly where it's coming from."
