Eyeing the various booths carefully, Bruce finally settled on a penny pitch - the goal of the game was to toss coins so that they landed on the horizontal game board within any one of a number of different sized circles, each of a different color and height. If the coin fell between the levels, you lost. If it landed perfectly onto one of the circles without hanging over the edge, you won a prize based on the color and size of the circle.
Each color and size corresponded to a different chubby plush superhero, all of which were hanging from the tent overhead. The smallest circles were colored black with a yellow bat - Bruce exchanged a dollar for four quarters. He only needed one.
The barker looked perturbed, but handed over the Batman plushie, which Bruce examined with a frown before handing it over to Dinah. "It's very... rotund, isn't it?"
