Re: Dinah and Bruce
His eyebrow rose teasingly, but Bruce restrained himself. "My spare time isn't anywhere near as interesting as it used to be - and those chandeliers are antiques. Although if you're into that sort of thing..." He was so accustomed to falling into his Bruce Wayne act that it took him a moment to realize that he wasn't actually performing; he was enjoying himself.
Giving her a quizzical look, as though he didn't understand her incredulity and collecting circuses were as normal as collecting baseball cards, he said, "Someone has to own them. Better someone who cares about them the way he does than someone who neglects them. We try to find the ones in need of a little attention."
Bruce smiled and looked around for the booth with the funnel cakes. Fortunately, he knew what those were thanks to frequent visits to the circus with Dick. He offered his arm. "Avoiding my hosting duties, to the best of my ability. So I believe I'm at your disposal, which sounds infinitely more amusing." Steering them in the appropriate direction, he easily ignored anyone who seemed even remotely interested in speaking with him, keeping all his attention on Dinah. "Anything you'd like to do, just say the word."
