Re: Steve & Phil
Phil actually smiled a little bit. "My father used to take me to see movies as well, a rare treat. Funny how getting something as simple as that seemed liked the world when you're so young. Today, movies are everywhere, you can just watch them on a phone, you don't really have to go to one spot and watch it."
"Wayne and Stark do have their similarities, but I find Wayne a little easier to be around." Phil's lips pursed for a moment as he regarded his personal feelings about Tony. "Stark quips more, and I think Wayne is simply just out to have a bit more fun rather than make personal digs and remarks."
"I am, yes, and she's somewhere else at the moment, probably chatting with Wayne." He didn't tell Steve that the woman in question was the Director of SHIELD, as he was still trying to figure out exactly how many people Maria wanted to know publicly or not. Steve's words about his costume somewhat soothed the awkward moment, and he shot the man a grateful smile. "Thank you, sir." He hesitated before bringing up a new subject. "Sir, I ... I hate to impose on you, after all this is a party, and you're on your downtime but ... I have ... these cards. Collectible trading cards. I was ..." it was taking a lot to get this out "wondering if you could spare a moment, not right now of course, to ....sign one or two?"
