Locke had fast hands, but all of his shuffling seemed in order. For now, it truthfully was. He was playing an honest game here, with no need to try and assure his chances of winning. He was dealing when Bruce came up, looking up without changing the course of the smoothly sailing cards. "Oh, thank you. I do get nibbly during a game. You be sure to thank the lovely lady for us." He was glad, too. People who were absently eating often gave away some tells they normally wouldn't.
He tapped the deck once on the table to straighten its edge then set it neatly in the middle before scooping up his hand.
