Re: Rose & Raven & Open
Well, it wouldn't be the first time they've shared saliva. Raven pushed her lips out so the cigar was practically offered for the taking when Rose leaned forward for it. "There are a number of things that are, but only in excess."
"Sailing," she repeated thoughtfully, in that common, distant sounding tone. "Maybe. I wouldn't mind seeing Spain or France. Perhaps Italy. Maybe even India."
Raven's gaze followed after the fellow as Bonnie started to flirt with him. "I think he would have been better served by Ruthie, if he would trouble himself to make an appointment." There were some of the ones who did acts for the dollar, and then there were the ones who actually looked prettier on the arm and were more cultured. After all, many men actually wanted company, not just a rut. Then her eyes trailed along the other patrons. There was a card game going on in the corner, some lads having a drinking contest over by a lamp, a few big surly folks were about, looking foul mooded. She looked curiously toward the two red heads settling at the bar.
"Oh, why I haven't seen him in some time," she said with an unusual amount of lightness in her voice. She pointed to Wally subtly, just a lift of her finger. "Remember me telling you about my first boy? That would be him." She frowned some. "I wonder if he's still out of sorts about that. I... he was drugged and asleep for much of the first time, still recovering from a gunshot wound." Most men would not have complained. This one had been a soft-hearted teen, though, and the friendship they had developed while he was in that far-off town became awkward afterwards.
