Billy lifted his brow slightly at the tone in which Tommy spoke about Eira. If he didn't know better, he would have called that tone kind, almost fond. Though, if he thought about it, it kind of made sense. From what he knew about the two of them, they seemed to be opposites in a lot of things. And he, for one, couldn't really relate to children younger than ten, and even 10 year olds kind of grated on him.
But he dismissed the thought as he walked over toward the cues and found the two straightest ones he could. He leaned one against the side of the table and took another drink of his beer, brown eyes glancing about the place, not really sure of what to say. But guys did that, right? Quiet and noncommittal grunts of approval? He was used to being around people who needed to fill the air with sound. He wasn't sure what to do with... this.
