"Miss D'ancanto." Foggy corrected himself with a pleasant smile.
Matt actually hadn't noticed the gloves until she shook his hand. One of the many difficulties of being blind-- even with his extra talents, he hadn't known until he touched them, and that did nothing but peak his curiosity, but for now he didn't comment and instead took a seat.
While he hadn't known about the gloves, he was fully aware that she was trying to pass a piece of paper in his direction- from the sound and the shift in the air that hit his face when she produced it. And yet, it would have been particularly odd for a blind man to take it from her.
Luckily Foggy made up for Matt's inability to act. "Great. Thank you. I'll just take a quick look..."
And while Foggy reviewed her resume, more than a little impressed at the recommendation from Professor Xavier, Matt spoke up, "Where are you from, Miss D'ancanto? Your accent is very unique."
Actually, while in a way she was just a little bit hard to understand, her accent- the long a's and missing syllables and the cadence of her sentences- was very interesting to him. He liked it, if only because of its uniqueness.
