Jubilee scooted her way around Rose and leaned against the railing while Rose took a seat on the bar. Despite how nonchalant she acted about her parents' death, it still stung.
"Like a princess," she answered, draping her upper body over the railing. "I was the only child so they spoiled me like woah. I always had the nicest and coolest things, you know what I mean." She looked at Rose and shrugged a little, still trying to put up the facade that she didn't really let it bother her anymore. "After they died, I was homeless for a while but I have a new home now so I guess it's all good."
She waved a hand to get the smoke out of her face. "So what about yours? I'm guessing your dad wasn't Father of the Year, huh? But what about your mom?"
