"One week isn't enough," Jubilee cried out and Eira ducked a little from the noise. "Look, I can't keep him, okay? The Pro---The man at the place I live won't lemme keep him. He's gonna like put him in a shoe box or something. You can't let that happen to Mikey!" She stepped over and stood next to Rose. "Look, I really need this and I kinda have no one else I can turn to so... oh gosh don't make me beg. I don't beg. I'll owe you a favor. A huuuuuge favor. And I'll pay you back!"
She pressed her lips together and pouted, trying to win over Rose's sympathy. The pout broke when Locke magic'ed the broom and dustpan to clean the apartment on their own. "I feel like I'm in a Disney movie," she mumbled, looking at Eira like the baby knew what she was talking about. She laughed to herself thinking how Locke was like one of the fairies in Sleeping Beauty watching over Rose. Turning her attention to Locke now that she had been reassured everyone was safe in Rose's humble apartment, she narrowed her eyes and gestured around her. The pancakes. The broom. The spiked coffee.
"So... Are you like... What are you? Last time I checked, normal people can't do this."
