Screech! He stopped and pursed his lips, looking toward Mia. No, no way did he want any of the wheels coming off the ground!
"So just... roll...." He turned the wheel a little toward more open ground in the parking lot, then released the brake more slowly. The car rolled and started picking up speed, but least now he only hovered his foot on the brake and carefully pushed to slow it.
So... not totally unlike a horse. Horses didn't respond well to hard kicks and jerks either. But nor could one be too timid of them either. It annoyed them if their rider was uncertain. He turned the wheel, letting the car creep smoothly along as he angled it back toward open ground again, then slowly stopped.
