Dinah stayed quiet throughout all of this. As much as she would joke that she just went where the Boss told her to go, and that she was just the hired muscle, Dinah knew that Barbara respected her opinion both in the heat of a battle and outside of it on the more mundane operations of things--however, when it came right down to it, Dinah would usually defer to Barbara's expertise; though she had never been afraid to put in her two cents.
Of course, that was an entirely different game when they were in the field-- and Dinah had been known to completely disregard Oracle (even going so far as to shut her communicator off several times) much to the other woman's infinite chagrin.
"It's not about Gotham, or even about New York." Dinah finally added, agreeing with Barbara. "It's not even about petty crime. Think of it as being part of the D.E.A. or the F.B.I. The cops and other heroes can handle the petty crime and the big guns can handle the super villains; it's everything in the middle that we're after. We're interested in organized crime, drug cartels, human trafficking rings, serial killers. All we want from you is the same thing you'd get from us- a little more firepower, and a lot more information. And occasional sparring because I'm totally digging your whole Kung Fu vibe."
