Jubilee had to admit that she was pretty impressed with the turnout. Who would've thought so many people would have the nerve to show up after what happened to the President just two days ago. It was pretty damn awe-inspiring, if she was being completely honest. She merged into the crowd with the other handful of students from Xavier's and kept a cautious eye on the extra police securing the perimeter.
About an hour or so into the protest though, she had to say that things were getting a bit... well... repetitive for her. It was just a lot of shaking signs and shouting slogans and smelly people sweating next to her. She didn't know what she was expecting from a peaceful demonstration but she guessed she was looking forward to something more. Or maybe she was too used to something more that everything going so smoothly was making her feel uneasy, constantly wondering when the bomb would go off.
Needing some fresh air, she pushed-shoved her way out of the main protesting crowd and opted to lean against one of the rail barricades, where a group of tourists posed for photos in front of the protesting crowd. She did take a protest sign with her to show that she was still part of the protest. But for now, she would watch from the sideline and cross her fingers that the protest would actually have some effects.
