Re: Batman, Black Canary, Iron Man, Maria Hill, Scarlet Witch
Tony wondered why he was surprised when Bruce confirmed Hill's intel, and expanded on it; after all, Luthor was an armor-stealing, patent-violating, unprincipled businessman who was also far too interested in politics, which was never a good thing. Why should concentration camps for mutants be that surprising given what he'd already done.
He was in an odd position out of all of them; unlike the SHIELD agents, he stood on his own, but like several of them, technically had powers, though was like Bruce in that he had made his powers for himself instead of having a fluke of genetics, and unlike Bruce, everyone knew he had them. He straddled all sorts of boundaries, and that made him nod slowly. "Shelter to those who need it, to keep them out of Luthor's clutches and out of the camps, and spreading the word that it's a bad idea. I can do that." That was what Twitter was for.
"I've got contacts," Hill agreed. "And everyone expects SHIELD to hack into databases. If he's kept a record of anything, had a recording made in the Oval Office where he talks about what he wants done and why, we'll find it."
"And you think people don't expect me to hack in?" Tony had to joke a little. "Race you to the data." He almost got a smile for that.
