Diana had been grateful for the call to arms, as it were. Though she had spoken of her concerns with Arthur, there were still too many questions left unanswered. It was comforting to know that she was not alone int his. The group that had gathered was full of familiar faces and each one looked equally concerned. This was a grave situation, but with this meeting their troubles could be discussed openly and each could decide their next course of action with confidence.
"What would you have us do?" she asked Clark bluntly. There was little time for pleasantries these days. "I cannot speak for us all, but I do know that many of us are bound by a certain code of conduct. My presence upon American soil is only tolerated if my sword is sheathed. To act will endanger not just my diplomatic station but all relations with Themyscira.
"That said, I am warrior and these injustices cannot stand. I will do whatever I can to uphold the freedoms and justice this nation deserves, I only need to know where to start."
