Her excuse? Cissie raised an eyebrow at the question before letting out a chuckle. The last time they'd met she'd been in winter gear. But now... "Believe me, this is an improvement. You should have seen my last costume. My former trainer had no style and even less taste."
Oh that old costume. All white, cape, mask that looked like something out of Sailor Moon? Hell he costume had looked like something out of Sailor Moon. She'd been right to change it! But given how warm it had been lately it was too warm for the hooded costume. If she had the money she'd probably redesign it again. This had been made out of pieces she'd been preparing before they'd been caught. Still... it was comfortable!
Listening to his answer she raised an eyebrow. "Surveillance on what? On me? Or is there something else going down around here?" The fact that just as much came out during the day was a scary thought. People with guns walking into buildings and opening fire. Arsons. The more subtle things that left people without loved ones... She glanced at the purple-clad hero next to her and smirked. "Tired? Of the two of us I thought I was the one who was out passed my bedtime." Sarcasm. It worked sometimes.
"I don't remember it being illegal to stand on a roof not bothering anyone," she said with a small smile. But the smile didn't last long as she shrugged. "Tonight, not actually chasing anyone. It's a nice change. Especially after the last few dealers I've left for the cops to find. But in this area, I've learned that generally something comes up if you wait long enough." Then again some people said that about the weather. "You probably will have a more interesting story to tell by the end of the night than I will." Then again, that wasn't unusual. She was a one-teen operation. He was... well... better stocked than she was for one.
