"Really think so?" he grinned. The lightning thing was the first thing he ever learned, so that was kind of awesome. He never thought of himself as intimidating or imposing. He took a deep breath and shook his head. "There are so many real heroes here." He glanced at Teddy. "This is kind of surreal. I kind of want to pinch myself just to make sure I'm not dreaming." For more reasons than just the heroes. He couldn't help but offer Teddy a small smile as he brushed the back of his fingers against Teddy's hand.
He took the class happily and gave it a shot. He was skeptical about most coffees, but considering it was Kate who was catering this shindig, well... Chances were that it was probably going to be more than great, and, of course, it was. "She does," he agreed with a small nod and handed Teddy back his drink. His eyes widened at the knowledge that was dropped. "Batman?" he asked with a sense of awe. "Really?" He turned to look at him. "But Batman hates everyone!" At least, this was what he had always been led to believe. He chuckled. "Yeah, well, I have like no mentor, so I'm right there with you." He glanced at him. "Not that I need them," he said with a smile. "It'd be helpful, though."
