Teddy's brow raised some as he took another drink of coffee before looking down at Billy, a helpless smile spreading on his face.
"You do when you are throwing lightning around like its confetti," he said honestly. "I really like it." He did. He liked red. He liked how Billy looked in red. He liked the cloak. And he liked the... rest. Oops, his eyes were wandering. He jerked his gaze back up, gulping more of the caffeine. "You do definitely look more a wizard in it." He looked up when Conner came in--late. "Not all of us can get away with jeans." Oh, he wish he could, but jeans were also not nearly as flexible and durable as what Kate had found him. Shifters couldn't be too choosy.
He offered some of his coffee to Billy. Obviously, he wasn't nearly so self-conscious of what people thought about their relationship and being in close company to Billy, sharing drink. "You do really have to hand it to Kate. She's got taste. She also knows how to pick a team. Did you know she's bringing four people to this? And that girl talks to Batman." He groped around mentally for what he was trying to get at. "I feel like I have to step up to keep up with her and Mia. Does that make sense?"
