The girl with the horns grinned brightly at her, her sharp canines bright. Diana had just made her day!
"Well, there isn't much to say that is not already on the books. I inherited the building and turned it into a place for exceptional children to learn well over a decade ago." He looked over at Bobby Drake, once a student, now a competent teacher. Time flew. "What is not so clear on the records is that, over time, I have managed to find a means to trace the lost children, so that they could have a safe place of learning and be able to master their abilities."
Because, really, at this point it was hard to hide the fact that many of the children were obvious mutants. Especially when two boys, one with blue skin, flashed into being in the hall ahead of them, looked in panic toward the oncoming group and disappeared again.
"Hey!" one of the other students yelled at the empty space uselessly. "No teleporting in the halls! For rude!"
Charles pushed a finger to the bridge of his nose briefly, looking to Bobby. "Can you see that those two get detention with Logan?"
