The students were not the only ones to be filled with joy. Their soft greetings and playful banter brought out a smile and Diana focused her attention on the few bold enough to speak up. "That is a lovely card," she said to the young girl, who thrust it out to her as quickly as possible. She took it from her and held it close as she continued on, greeting the students she could with handshakes and soft words.
At the boy who spoke up, she simply laughed. "One forgets the cold with such warm faces," she said and continued to make conversation with the other students as they made their way inside. Even the young man playing bodyguard received a warm smile as they continued inside the walls.
"I must admit, I know very little about the history the school or how it came to be. Could you tell me more about it?" she asked Charles, the children quieting as many of them realized the full history of their institute was more important than asking for autographs or information on how to deliver the best punch.
