Who: Pete Wisdom & The Rogues (& possibly Tigra)
When: Wednesday, February 13, 2013
Where: HYDRA research facility
What: It's time for the Rogues to earn their keep. And probably cause massive amounts of property damage while they are at it.
Rating: Where there are Rogues, there is an R.
Babysitting. It was always his favorite thing to do. Really. With the Rogues assembled on site, Pete was going through the last briefing before they landed the copter and headed out beyond the fence. If he was lucky, he'd managed the herd without too many difficulties. But Pete Wisdom was never lucky. The labs themselves weren't much to look at outwardly but they'd all been briefed on the internal layout beyond the tall fences that surrounded the grounds. There were a number of buildings in the scene and at least two they'd have to bust into, even if it meant splitting up to a smaller degree. Nothing they couldn't handle, right? "Right then. We're here for two things," Pete held up his fingers to make his point. "Get the new weaponized prototype from the lab before it's deployed. And grab the drive from their main server." He paused, thinking this over before commiting in this one. "Oh and rampant destruction's pretty much inevitable." He was a big fan of picking his battles and this one wasn't going to get him "I know this is going to be futile but - let's try to be professional?" He looked them over for a moment and then sighed. This was absolutely an exercise in futility and he recognized that the moment he realized the "crack team" he'd been given for this one. Nope, not happening. "Just...don't kill 'em unless they try and kill you first." Once they landed, Pete hopped out of the silent aircraft (SHIELD's specialty) and motioned for the other to follow. "Who's gonna knock?" At least offering to whomever wanted to honor of knocking the fence flat to mark their appearance. |
