It was late. Most of the places were starting to close up except for clubs he didn't want to go to. As much as he would enjoy watching Apollo move to the music, he didn't want to get dragged out onto the floor himself. It was never really his thing.
He took the kiss on the cheek without so much as a face, mostly because they were high above the city looking down at one of the better scenes in the world. "I could think of a few things we could do," he said playfully as he slipped an arm around the other man's waist and tugged him closer. If it were anyone else, the cold probably would've bothered them, but Midnighter had been engineered to withstand extreme conditions.

She didn't even get far enough to finish the sentence before Midnighter let out a string of curses. "Really?"
"It's opening in your area. In fact, you should be able to see it from your location."
"Well, we could do that next," he said looking up at his fiance." Really, because there was going to be a slaughter.
