Bart frowned and ducked his chin down sheepishly, one giant foot not quite kicking at rocks. "Sorry." He hadn't meant to offend her or anything but it was going to take for-ev-er for them to get here otherwise.
Bouncing back like the resilient little champ he was (most of the time), Bart gave a flourish of his hands towards the house, already starting for the front door to hold it open for her. "So. This is it." He said, not calling it home (since really, it wasn't... at least not his home), "It's my cousin and his fiancee's house but they're letting me stay for a while. But there's wifi, so that's yay-- and grilled cheese!" The last part he remembered all of a sudden, and started nodding and trying to beckon her towards the kitchen because he was staaaaarving.
"So do you want like soda or something? You know, mi casa es su casa or whatever."
