Billy shrugged at the normal question. "Well, as normal as we can get," he replied with a soft smile. His face flushed at the question. "Oh, right. That." He cleared his throat and wore a sheepish grin as he shrugged. "It's just one of those things, you know?" He glanced at him. "Not that I said it just to say it," he added quickly, "but..." He ran his fingers through his hair. "I'm not going to lie and pretend like I hadn't thought that maybe this was where it was heading. I guess wishful thinking gave way to protective rage."
His brows raised, though, when Teddy asked if he was okay with it. "Why wouldn't I want that?" He tilted his head. Billy offered him half-grin. "All the sexiest men are aliens," he replied with a wink, reaching out to place his hand on Teddy's as his face became more serious. "This is all I need to know," he said quietly as he looked up to meet the blond teen's eyes, "Teddy Altman is a sweet guy, who's kind of a dork, with a good heart, and is unimaginably brave."
