He tipped his chin down, smiling at that thought. The touch was also reassuring, and he lift his gaze up from his coffee. Billy did not seem a bit repulsed by him. Teddy was not repulsed by him either, even with knowing he was well beyond human norms.
"Be normal?" he asked. But that was the kicker of it. They weren't normal. Teddy felt he needed to clarify that. It was the thing that continued to stir about in his mind that he wanted to know from Billy so he could stop wondering about it.
The blue eyes dropped, then lifted again. "You... called me your boyfriend when everything went down. It might have just been in the heat of all the fighting going on... But even so... Are you really sure, now that everything has settled and you know all the facts, that you really are okay and want that?" His voice quieted. "I am, if you are."
