Who: Laura Kinney & Frank Castle Where: Gotham Docks. When: 12/20 around 9PM. What: Frank and Laura cross paths. Rating: TBD
Laura wasn't sure how close she was to getting where she needed to go, but she was certain she didn't have much time to get where she was going. The newspaper article made the situation feel much more urgent, not that she'd rush into things. Rushing meant mistakes. She'd made one allowance and it'd gotten her some news coverage, which didn't work in her favor. They knew that there were members missing. It took people a while to find the bodies, but now a connection had been made.
Being here wasn't safe, but neither was tracking them down alone. She didn't want to ask Red for help in this. It felt personal. She had the option more than once, when she'd visited him. Not once had she bothered to bring it up. They hadn't discussed it until the text message the other night. She would not lie to him.
She was certain this was definitely one step closer. They were very good at only giving her so little to go on. The Skeleton Crew had been a mere stepping stone. This new organization was definitely more organized. She could see that from where she was perched in the shadows. Sitting on the crate, she watched as people walked by past her, taking notes on her locations, gathering names, and mannerisms as they did so.
