Who: Logan and Laura
When: 12/21 (forward dated)
Where: Her place in Gotham
What: After reading this, Logan decides to see if Laura needs a hand. Or claws.
Rating: Possibly high?
The Friday before Christmas break meant that students were squirrely by nature; make that mutant kids in Logan's afternoon class, and he gave up. He had rather larger things on his mind than trying to get his seniors to recite the chain of events that led to the declaration of the First World War. He would admit that fifty years this side of it, it sounded insane, but he didn't have the energy to argue about how it had all made so much sense when he read everything in the paper, enough that he had been happy to channel his boredom and rage into the army.
He let them go pack - or, more accurately, get into a snowball fight. He had things to do. He'd read something else in the paper that sparked the same response as the declarations of war had: he hadn't been in Gotham, and there were few others who could have killed with symmetrical slashes. Either it was her and she might need a hand clawing through the rest of the underbelly, or it wasn't her and she'd need a hand dealing with something that could carve her up - healing factor or no, it'd hurt.
Besides, wasn't the holidays a time for family and all that jingle? And what said "family" more than joining together and doing something both found enjoyable? In this case, it was just blood and death instead of decorating the tree together.
Gotham was a big city, big enough he couldn't just pick up her scent, and it was cold enough he didn't want to cruise the streets waiting to pick up her scent. Instead, he went straight for her place to wait for her; Shep greeted him with nervous barks, until he got a good sniff. Then the little dog was sniffing at his boots and wiggling, and Logan crouched to get acquainted.
