Her simple logic and reasoning seemed to bring him back down to reality, as he nodded. He really had not felt all that nervous until he had been interrupted and thrown off his game. Before that, it had been all impulse and he had simply gone with his feelings. It was only afterward, when he felt derailed, that he struggled to get back onto the tracks and figure out how best to proceed.
Fortunately, Dinah had figured it out for the both of them.
"Well, Taco Bell calls it fourth meal." He rubbed the back of his neck. "But yeah, that sounds good. And very adult of you." He smiled. "I'll go order something up and hit the shower myself I think. Is there anything in particular you're in the mood for?"
He felt silly now for having been so flustered, and was thankful that Luke would likely never find out about it as he did not know or otherwise really converse with Dinah that he knew. And besides that, after having spent so many months now sparring with her he should have known that everything was alright. Particularly because he was well aware that if she had not wanted him to make a move, that she would have been more than capable of stopping him in any myriad of ways. Which he had to figure was a good thing.. he hoped.
