She grinned a little as Danny bemoaned the plight of having kids walk in and throw off your groove. "These things happen. No one's bleeding, or crying, so I'd say it ended up pretty well, all things considered."
"Thanks." Dinah said, holding the towel around her shoulders and glanced curiously back at Danny. Her smile still hadn't faded.
He looked so... nervous, anxious even. And while she had a couple butterflies herself and certainly wouldn't have gone so far as to say she was calm or cool- it was interesting to her just how jittery he was. She couldn't think of a time that she'd seen him so flustered.
Dinah wasn't so embarrassed by kissing, or being attracted to someone. She was, in general, a demonstratively affectionate person-- with lovers and platonic friends. She'd kissed, and been attracted to, several people in her life time. Kissing someone didn't mean you were going to marry them, or commit your life to them-- it didn't even mean you were going to have sex with them. Kissing was just kissing.
"I'll take that win." She gave a proud nod to emphasize her point.
Dinah watched him the whole time he rambled on with a sympathetic smile and a look of surprise when he said he brought clothes for her and finally stopped him with a light laugh.
"How about this:" she started, finally putting Danny out of his misery, "I'll go change into whatever you've got, you get something delivered, we'll make sure all the minors are actually in bed then have... whatever you call a meal you have this late." Pausing, she gave a shrug and pushed some wet hair out of her face, "Anything else we can figure out when we get there."
Dinah didn't see any point in making any sort of premature decisions. They were both single, consenting adults. If they decided they wanted to kiss; that'd be just fine. If they decided they didn't want to-- well, that was fine too.
Either way, she was enjoying spending time with Danny; on or off the mats.
