"Flirt." She called to him accusingly from across the width of the pool, while she took up her own stance, with her left foot out in front, though her feet were a little closer together in width than the stance normally called for- but not by much. Sometimes there were benefits to being smaller than your opponents-- and this was one of those times. The Walking Stance gave her greater mobility from most other Taekwondo stances, without sacrificing her balance on the plank.
Honestly, the first round wouldn't be so bad-- it was the second and third, once the plank got wet and slippery from them falling and climbing back on, when things would get tricky. There would be no grappling tonight; that much was certain.
Dinah started down the plank towards him but stopped just short of striking distance. At least, she stopped for a moment.
In the next moment, she slammed her left foot down, shaking the whole thing and effecting a loud slap of her foot. Before the sound had even faded, she was moving in again, popping a jab towards his face-- though all of this was really just a distraction, trying to keep him from noticing her left foot darting in for his forward knee, looking to tip him off the plank and be done with it.
