The look she gave him said she knew something was up and was thoroughly unamused at his lazy attempt to distract her-- but she let it slide this time. When, and if, he was ready to talk about it, he would. She wouldn't actually try to beat it out of him unless she thought he was really disturbed by something. For now, it didn't seem to be worth to worry.
"My hero." She teased when he said the pool was heated. That was good at least-- though with the heated pool, once she fell in, she might be tempted not to get out. Dinah rolled her eyes at his comment about the rope, "Next time I'm bringing my friend's kid over to kick your ass on a high wire." She grumbled good-naturedly, starting for the plank.
"Ready? I've been looking forward to this all week." She called back to him with a fierce grin, tightening her ponytail and testing the strength of the wooden plank before running down it to the other side of the pool.
