Vic Sage was use to traveling across the country in search of news stories. It was part of the job and it gave him the chance to broaden his horizons as both a journalist and a faceless vigilante. He was suppose to be chasing down leads concerning shading business dealings in one of the larger pharmaceutical companies in Metropolis. The company had dealings with all sorts of unsavory characters and he was hoping for a connection to the most recent President Elect. Vic's reputation for being aggressive and relentless had let me land this gig. Money was still a factor in his life after all. However, the leg work for that assignment would have to wait for now.
It had been days since he last wore the mask and part of him missed the anonymity and the danger. So he had left his hotel room as soon as night came and ventured forth into the "seedy underbelly" of Metropolis.
The Question strolled the streets, fedora pulled down over his face, hands tucked into his pockets. He was letting the city speak in the hopes she'd reveal her secrets to him. He was so intent on following his nose he didn't notice the mugger sneaking up behind him. The cool steel of the barrel pressed against the back of his head made his forward progress halt.
"Give me your wallet" The Mugger demanded. A minute passed in silence and The Question made no move what so ever. "I want your money not your life." Silence once again reigned, the mugger deciding whether or not to kill the man or just flee before some hero came along..
