Unaware of the fierce woman on the outside of the bubble, Thor considered the man's words. Sincerity was in his voice, and it would have been a peculiar lie to tell all the same. "Say I believe you. Let me gamble a bit more."
Thor was strong. Stronger than a thousand men. Stronger than most Asgardians. He could always rely on his own faculties. Few barriers could hold the full might of Thor, especially when imbued with the Odinforce. He spun his hammer around again, hair and cape billowing in the small windstorm, as the air grew thin and swirled around them fiercely. Then he hit the barrier again, with all of his might.
And it felled him. The hammer dropped to the stage, heavy and dull, and Thor flew back with the blast, nearly slamming into the strange god-man as he hit the other side with force that rattled his bones.
Crumpling to the floor, he fell to his hands and knees, and snarled. "It is not possible," he muttered, wondering how anything could withstand such force. Blood dripped from where his crown had slammed into the far side. The barrier was now a fraction of its previous size, as it closed in on him and 'Scott'.
"I have shattered celestial bodies with ease," Thor declared, turning to look at the man. "Yet this small magic holds us and would threaten to entomb us both for an eternity."
